SSDS Challenge: Recipe
It's time for another Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday Challenge. The recipe is to create a 4x7 card, with 3 designer papers, 5 flowers, glitter and wet embossing. There was some discussion among our group about embossing glitter (a comma can make quite a difference - just read the book Eats, Shoots and Leaves for hilarious consequences of placing commas in the wrong place), so I took up the challenge to use my glitter embossing powder. I used it as a border around my DP blocks. I applied the embossing ink from the EK success pens along one side at a time and embossed it with Inkadinkado Sparkle Embossing powder. My DPs were from different paper packs (probably DCWV) and I loosely followed the sketch provided by Doodle Street Challenge #3. The flowers are from Oriental Trading Company and I used my faithful Matte Accents for the center of the flowers (I tried to hurry the drying time by using my heat gun (it was out after all) and ended up making the liquid bubble/boil so it looks a little "funny" and feels rubbery). The image is from Sewn Together and was yesterday's freebie so be sure to get your copy of this image. I colored it with colored pencils. I should have left it alone, but I did also use a blending stump too.

You went through a lot of work to get this done- it looks great. I love the fall feeling it has- I don't see the "rubber" but I do see a lot of great dimension!

Great card, really love how you colored that image.
