Paintings not published over the past couple of years

I'm busy finishing college, and teaching that I miss getting to paint.
I have probably forgotten how and will have to relearn my lessons.

that isn't the sun, it is camera flash because it was framed

Sorry it is sideways
string art

Garfield (I forgot if it was Picasso'd or Cubism'd)

fun with zentangle

My horse painting

I started it for an Art Club auction piece but then we disbanded Art Club (and husband was hospitalized)
Angela put her magic on it

I'm missing the blue birds on barbed wire pastel painting
and the acrylic horse lesson at Hobby Lobby

Then my last painting (unfinished) done for LCMS
it's the cork board in the Swing Wing Workroom

Needs more shells, a sand castle, something.  Palm tree needs more palms.  Maybe another wave coming into shore to break up that blue water.

I'm a teacher!

It only took me 28 years, and a pandemic, but I finally am doing it.

I have been having computer issues and not posting

Too bad I can't do my blog on my tablet.  LOL  Tablet isn't perfect, but at least I can view (and like) on facebook, read email, watch YouTube tutorials and play Game of War.

I have done a few other things, however.

Polymer Clay Journal Covers (Art Club):
This one is going into the Art Auction  (back and front with pen)

as is the butterfly one and it has a pen to go with it too.
      (the horses are MINE!!!)  ðŸ˜‰

A cat inspired by the adult coloring craze type of drawings

And Garfield was done by my youngest son

I plan to do some more...I'm thinking rooster and hens because of my chickens.

And some coasters I did when I missed Art Club because of my wreck (pastel ones were done by a student showing me how to do this).  I gave as Christmas gifts to each family a set, and I didn't take pictures before wrapping them.

Pastel Paintings:

 For a glass challenge:

 For a foliage/non-flower challenge:

Michele Wells' Painting Skies/Clouds class in Webster Groves with Angela

Oh, I almost forget that I was going to do a sneak peak of the current pastel painting in progress because if I don't work on my paintings, these will never get done.

Current painting in progress
It's one I painted 2 years ago and I'm hoping I can do a better job on it this time since I learned so much
in the past couple of years.  I love how the bottle turned out (and the bowl) and
the flower is looking better than my first attempt.  Now for the smaller white flowers

My poor car.

Tuesday October 4, 2016.  The day my beautiful car was destroyed.

Time to go to work.  There was a gap in the headlights coming at me, and I went for it. Unfortunately,  the gal behind me was taking a drink and when she put her cup down, there I was.  She slammed into my backend on the left and put me into a tailspin.  One second I see her headlights in my rearview mirror, and the next second I see the rock wall spinning in my front view.  In my brain, I thought "I'm rolling".   When it was over, I could hear the engine running so I calmly put my car in park, turned off the key, and shut off my headlights.  Later I realized that my radio had gone off and that was why I could hear my engine.  A lady came running up to me asking if I was OK and to not move.  I luckily had my cell phone in my pocket and I called John first.  While on the phone, someone else opened my passenger door.   After that, I decided to move over and come out (I didn't know how close to the wall I was -but thinking back, the lady opened it so I probably could have gotten out that way).    There was another gal that was upset, tears running down her face, saying "I was taking a drink and when I put my cup down, there she was!"  She was driving a Chevy Equanox and only damage I saw was to her front right fender.

I think I was a little shaky still

I got a few photos of the skid marks a few days later.

Which version looks better online?

Trying to see what looks better on my computer

Ah ha!  I think I have a winner... ran it through a blue filter which made the red cloth not not look so orangey.

Looks like I got this google thing figured out...us my work email address to access my blog (hopefully this will not be an issue 20 years from now when I  retire).
Zentangle cards for my two summer school students. The boy's name started with an A so I tried to do masculine designs.  The girl's name begins with Z  so I did more feminine doodles.

Another quick project completed this week are these crocheted scrubbers.

Now my crafty project for tomorrow is to pack for a crop.  I haven't been, in over a year...  since buying my car.  Plus I have been concentrating mostly on pastel painting.
