Lots of cards today

First is a card that I received for a circle theme swap. The rest of the cards are what I've made for my SIL.
Above is Tangled Fluffles, colored with my Bic Markers while below is a cat from a velum sticker pack that I picked up at JoAnn's in their clearance sale. I also added three gold paint beads to finish it off.
The oval card was following a sketch and I used my punch to create the flower. The cat sleeping on the "quilt" was colored with water color pencils to look like a tortishell cat since that's one of her cats' colors.
Below is Fluffles checking out a snail and colored with my Bic Markers (all the Fluffles were Bic Markers). This may be the end of my creating for the weekend - Tomorrow is my last day off and I have laundry to fold and I guess I'm going to have to shampoo the carpet after all since my youngest threw up on it really early this morning. :(

4 more

The first card has silver paint to make the swirls and around the bracket and I used another glittery flower. The red one is for a Split Coast Stamper's color challenge and I followed a sketch. I placed the cat sticker higher than the sketch's embellishment dictated it should go but I thought he looked better sitting on the ledge than he would lower down. The other two, I just kind of put together. I didn't follow a sketch or do it for a challenge. The two women are colored in markers while the cat is watercolor pencils. I have another card that is drying and we'll see what else I can come up with.

So Far...6 cards done today

For a bird swap I used this two-step stamp of a bird. This was my first time using a two-step stamp. It took me a while to figure how to do the second stamp...every time I tried to move the plastic sheet, the cardstock would move too. Later when I was putting the ribbons on, I ran out of the skinny magenta ribbon (got 3 done with it) and had to use some of the sheer green ribbon on the last one. Lastly, I added three silver paint dots on the mat below the bird and in three of the circles. This paint is suppose to look like pearl beads but I haven't quite gotten the technique down for making balls because they get the Kewpie doll or ice cream cone points when I lift the tip off the paint blob.
Below: A couple of Thank you cards for my SIL. The top has a glittery green "flora doodle" from Hobby Lobby while for the lower card I cut a piece of paper with a flower printed on it. I then took my glitter and ran a bead of glue (Matte accents) and put it on the darker pink (I don't know if it shows up). The "thanks" is a chipboard accent from the dollar bin at Michaels.

Hopefully, I'll get more more done tonight. I've already colored some images and stamped some others - just waiting for the paint and ink to dry before I scan them.

Green, Orange, Yellow and Hot Pink Card Revised

I added the flowers in the grass with the Easter image. Helps make the colors that need to be used for the swap, more prominent this way.

One more

No one went out and got the mail Saturday (I was gone to a crop) so I have one more swap card to show. And it's got a HORSE. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for horses.

Cards, Cards, and More Cards

I haven't been keeping up with my blog (just haven't had time to scan) but I've been busy. :)
Here I have cards made for a Corners swap. Each one ended up looking a little different so I just went ahead and scanned them all. I meant to stamp "hello" on each one but forgot. Oh well, the swapper that gets my cards can put what ever they would like to have on it that way.

Below, this is for an upcoming swap, Colors Orange, Green, Yellow and Bright Pink, that hasn't closed yet so hopefully it won't fall thru. The card I happened to scan, is the one that is different - all the others have the ribbon on the left. Otherwise, all 4 of them look the same. I have the Easter Image matted on orange corrugated "Cardboard" (it isn't really cardboard, but it wasn't cardstock that I embossed - I bought it that way many years ago). I need to stamp "Happy Easter" inside. Since I don't have much bright pink, I may use that color.

Then the 4U cards and Circle cards are for more swapping. They are blank inside since the outside says it all. LOL The Circle card replaces what I made for it before (see below) but ended up not liking the results. I'll use them for the Autism Card Donation. I embossed small flowers with glittery embossing powder inside the circles. That's when I wasn't too happy with my results. That and the ribbon didn't "speak" to me anymore even though that was the reason for the purple and salmon color scheme for the circles.

Now here are some cards that I've been recieving for all this swapping....

There are still more to come so hopefully in the next few days I'll have more to share.
