My card this week for the SSDS Challenge was to create a Boy Card. The card stock I used for this project is American Crafts Celebration Tightrope because I love stripes. My image is a rubber stamp called September - Scottie by JRL Design. I'm so spoiled with digital because I couldn't make this smaller - LOL (I wanted to enter it in the PCP sketch challenge but the image was too big). I colored my image with my Prismacolor markers, then matted it with orange and brown card stocks. The ribbon is an adhesive backed ribbon from Darice and I printed the sentiment on a scrap of the orange card stock (left over from the mat) and cut it into the peanut shape, then inked it with a brown marker.
Thanks for looking and be sure to stop by my fellow design team member and see how they went with the Boy Theme challenge. I can't wait to see your take on it.
